_A prestigious session was organized under the host of Ustad Muhammad Safdar in which the special guest from Pakistan, Mr. Sohail Ansari, Chairman Rachdel Sahiwal Manchester Friends, senior journalist Mr. Chaudhry Arif Pandhir, Chaudhry Mahmood Asghar and Dr. Allama Azeem attended.
The session discussed three important points:
1. Journalists’ Unity — Promoting mutual cooperation among media representatives for the betterment of the country and nation.
2. Positive publicity of the community — Highlighting the achievements of the youth, welfare works and interfaith harmony.
3. The true identity of Pakistan — Showing the world the true face of Pakistan based on peace, hospitality and love.
Dr. Allama Azeem said that “If a journalist’s pen is used wisely, nations are built. We have to tell the world that Pakistan is not just a country of news, but a country of goodness.” The special guest said that the ambassadors of Pakistani expatriates and true patriots have an important role in the prosperity of Pakistan. He paid tribute to the services of the Pakistani journalist community abroad in upholding the dignity of the homeland. Chaudhry Naseer Ahmed Sahiwali said that we are striving for the best relations between Britain and Pakistan and the prosperity of both countries.
All the participants agreed that journalism with truth and responsibility is the guarantor of the reform of society and the dignity of Pakistan. The session ended with a prayer for the security and unity of the country and the nation.
