Which was a wonderful event of interfaith and intercultural harmony, in which representatives from eight countries participated. Hamza Robertson presented English songs and Urooj Qawwali Group presented Qawwali. A grand event was organized by Mecfest Organization, in which special arrangements were made to promote Qawwali and social connections. The event was well attended by people belonging to different religions, cultures and communities.
The event, organized under the leadership of Qaisra Shiraz, Chief Executive Officer of Mecfets Organization, a Pakistani-born, was attended by guests from eight different countries. The event was attended by several social, religious and community leaders, including former Mayor of Tameside and former Mayor of Trafford Jenny Brophy – Community Leader Mahi. The participants enjoyed Qawwali and cultural activities, as well as emphasizing the promotion of interfaith harmony, mutual respect and social solidarity. On this occasion, the speakers appreciated the services of the Makefits Organization and its CEO Qaisra Shiraz, saying that they are playing an important role in promoting love, tolerance and brotherhood in society by bringing people from different religions, nationalities and communities together on one platform. At the end of the event, the participants paid tribute to the efforts of the Makefits Organization and expressed the hope that such activities will continue to be a means of bringing different communities closer and promoting social harmony in the future.
