
Manchester, UK: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has successfully concluded its 2026 Overseas Intra-Party Elections, with the PTI Overseas Election Commission issuing the official results.
According to the official notification, Malik Imran Khalil has been elected President of PTI UK unopposed. Other members of the newly elected UK leadership include Rizwan Naseer as Senior Vice President, Faheem Malik as Information Secretary, Inam-ul-Haq Nami as Additional General Secretary, and Shagufta Akhtar as Women’s Secretary.
Speaking after the announcement, Malik Imran Khalil expressed his gratitude to party members and supporters for placing their trust in his panel. He pledged to work with dedication to strengthen the party’s organisation across the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Asif Butt has been re-elected unopposed as President of PTI North West. His Junoon Group also secured victory unopposed in the intra-party elections.
The newly elected PTI North West office-bearers include Chaudhry Bilal Gujjar as General Secretary, Rizwan Naseer as Senior Vice President, Suleman Ali Shah as Information Secretary, and Sanober Zafar as Women’s Secretary.
This marks Asif Butt’s third consecutive term as President of PTI North West. Thanking party workers for their continued confidence and support, he reaffirmed his commitment to the party and stated that he would continue campaigning for the release of PTI Founder and former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.
The successful completion of the 2026 intra-party elections is seen as an important organisational milestone for PTI’s overseas chapter, reinforcing its leadership structure and commitment to engaging party members across the United Kingdom.
