A meeting was held at the Lahore residence of Mian Muhammad Aamir Shahbaz, Member of the District Coordination Committee of the Chief Minister of Punjab and Chairman of the Friends Group, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rahim Yar Khan, with Malik Zaheer Anwar, former General Secretary of the District Press Club (Registered), Rahim Yar Khan. Mian Shahbaz’s sons, Mian Shah Nawaz Aamir and Mian Shaheer Aamir, were also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the participants held a detailed discussion on the upcoming elections of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rahim Yar Khan, the challenges faced by the business community, the protection of traders’ interests, and measures to further strengthen the role of the Chamber.
Speaking on the occasion, Mian Muhammad Aamir Shahbaz said that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a vital institution that plays a key role in addressing the issues of traders and industrialists. He added that the Friends Group has always worked for the welfare, unity, and progress of the business community and will continue its efforts to uphold the trust and confidence of traders.
Malik Zaheer Anwar appreciated the business, social, and public services of Mian Muhammad Aamir Shahbaz and expressed hope that the upcoming Chamber elections would promote a positive and constructive environment, ensuring stronger representation and better opportunities for the business community.
The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to mutual cooperation, the unity of the business community, and strengthening the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rahim Yar Khan.
