The event saw the participation of scholars from various schools of thought, religious and social figures, and a large number of citizens. The European Islamic Centre (EIC) in Oldham, UK, hosted this magnificent and dignified 12th Annual Seerat Conference. Its primary objectives were to foster unity within the Ummah and inter-sectarian harmony, and to disseminate the universal message of the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH). Held under the theme “Mercy for Humanity,” the conference was attended by hundreds of people, including men, women, religious scholars, and youth. Notable attendees included Consultant Dr. Ghulam Ali, Chaudhry Tufail, and Chaudhry Khalid Hanjra. A special Seerat Exhibition was also arranged for the occasion, featuring posters, historical artifacts, 3D models, and VR headsets, all designed to connect the new generation with the Prophet’s exemplary life (Uswah-e-Hasanah) through modern methods. Speaking to the media, the participating scholars and organizers emphasized the importance of inter-sectarian unity. Allama Qari Khadim Hussain Chishti, Maulana Abdul Karim, and Raja Qamar Abbas stated that there is a dire need for unity and solidarity among us in these times, and it is a privilege to gather on a single platform in the name of the “Mercy to the Worlds” (Rahmat-ul-Lil-Aalameen). Maulana Muhammad Iqbal, the host and head of the European Islamic Centre, remarked that all mosques and schools of thought must unite to tackle the challenges of the modern era. Between 500 and 600 people attended the conference, which aimed to foster unity through the teachings of the Seerah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Participants highly commended this initiative by the European Islamic Center. The organizers pledged to continue promoting Muslim unity and the Seerah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) through similar future programs, with the goal of spreading a message of peace and love globally.
