RAWALPINDI:(Report By Javid Iqbal) According to ug news Media Europe, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed has said that the Istikhara meeting in London turned into a 7-day tour.
In a statement on Twitter on Saturday, the head of Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rasheed, said that the appointment will be in accordance with the law and not on the basis of likes or dislikes. The FIR is not being filed and the post mortem report of Arshad sharif is not being handed over to heirs, he said.
Rasheed said that ministers are not going to offices as the government has collapsed.
Rasheed further said that there will be accountability and election. After November 30, 13 parties will be disappear. The fugitive accused is mocking the nation in the name of important decisions sitting in London. Fortnight is important. I will give a historic welcome to Imran Khan on his arrival in Rawalpindi, he said.
Meanwhile, after series of meetings between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif here, it has been decided to appoint the military’s senior-most officer as the next chief of army staff.
The decision was made during a meeting of the PML-N’s top leaders, which included Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Gen Bajwa is all set to retire on Nov 29 and the coalition parties led by PML-N have resolved to appoint the senior-most army officer as army chief.
After his 4th and two-hours-long meeting with Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz spoke to journalists and said that the army chief’s appointment is a constitutional matter. He added that it would be decided in line with the Constitution.
Apart from the army chief’s appointment, the meeting took key decisions in London. Later, the PML-N will take the coalition partners into confidence over these decisions.
Prime Minister Shehbaz is returning to Pakistan now, after the meetings. He had arrived in London after concluding his visit to Egypt, where he attended the COP27 summit.
On Thursday, a diplomatic passport has been issued to Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who is in London.Nawaz Sharif’s family sources have confirmed that the former prime minister has received a diplomatic passport
