Punjab Bar Council Member and Senior High Court Advocate Choudhry Akhtar Mahmood Chahoor has said that all cases brought before him are dealt with strictly on merit, adding that he has always given priority to the principles of justice, law and fairness. He said his doors remain open for people who lack financial resources and that he makes every possible effort to provide them with legal assistance.
Speaking to the media, Choudhry Akhtar Mahmood Chahoor Advocate said that throughout his legal career, he had always prioritized merit and adopted a lawful and principled approach in important cases. He said the fundamental responsibility of a lawyer is not only to provide proper legal guidance to clients but also to make every possible effort to help them obtain justice.
He said that people who are unable to properly pursue their cases due to financial constraints should feel free to approach him. He assured that, according to his capacity, he would make every possible effort to represent their cases on merit and assist them in securing justice.
Choudhry Akhtar Mahmood Chahoor Advocate further stated that his son, Sohaib Chahoor Advocate High Court, is also practicing law in Bahawalpur and is performing his professional responsibilities in accordance with the principles of merit and law. He expressed pride in the upbringing of his children, saying that he was pleased to see them fulfilling their professional responsibilities with integrity and commitment to merit.
He further said that the position he holds today is also the result of the continued support and cooperation of his friends, brothers and members of the legal fraternity. He reiterated that he would continue to stand by the lawyers’ community and make every possible effort to resolve their legitimate issues.
Choudhry Akhtar Mahmood Chahoor Advocate said that during his previous tenure, he had undertaken several development projects for the facilitation of the legal fraternity, including the construction of the Chahoor Block. He said these projects remain a reflection of his practical efforts for the welfare of lawyers.
As a current member of the Punjab Bar Council, he said he would continue to utilize all available resources for the resolution of lawyers’ problems, their welfare and the protection of their legitimate professional rights.
He reiterated his commitment to continuing his efforts for the supremacy of law, justice and merit and said he would continue working alongside the lawyers’ community for the resolution of their legitimate issues.
