PESHAWAR:(Report Wasal Ahmed) According to ug news Media Europe, Project Director of Livestock Department, Dr.Aftab Ahmed said that the livestock and dairy development sector is the backbone of the country’s economy. Seventy percent of Pakistan’s population lives in villages and Their income depends on agriculture and livestock. He said that the mission of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and Provincial Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Mohibullah Khan is to eradicate poverty in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and improve the economic field through agricultural reforms. He said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is taking revolutionary steps in the field of agriculture so that our province can be self-sufficient in agricultural production. Project Director of Livestock Department, Dr. Aftab Ahmed, in an interview with International Global Times Media Europe. I said that rural chickens play an important role in fulfilling people’s livelihood and nutritional needs.The awareness programs of the Livestock Department are helping in the development and welfare of the community in which the media plays a major role, he added that the day is not far when our province will be self-sufficient in agricultural production.
