Jhelum (Ch. Abid Mahmood + Ch. Zafar Noor) A splendid function was held in Industrial Tsar Jhelum and Darulaman today on the occasion of International Human Rights Day. Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Rao Pervez Akhtar was the special guest of this prestigious function. District Attorney Muhammad Khalid Rana, Deputy Director Social Welfare Chaudhry Wajid Hussain and in-charge Darulaman Tayyaba Nasir addressed the audience on the occasion. Miss Shahida Shah, Amjad Gondal Advocate, Shazia Nayyar Advocate, Miss Momina, Miss Rashida Aziz and other guests were also present on the occasion. Attendees delivered speeches. DC Jhelum Rao Pervez Akhtar said that International Human Rights Day reminds us of the rights of all human beings which Allah (swt) has granted to all equally. In the Charter of Human Rights, all human beings are equal and everyone has the right to live on an equal footing. As our beloved Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) set an example by following his example of beauty. Mohammad Khalid Rana and Wajid Hussain in their speeches said that all human beings are the children of one father and one mother. All are equal in the eyes of the state and the law.
