Following its success in London and Birmingham, the renowned Pakistani food brand “Biryani Wala” has launched a new branch in Manchester. The opening ceremony for the new location on Wilmslow Road was attended by Member of Parliament Afzal Khan, prominent lawyer and solicitor Tahir Ansari, key figures from the Pakistani community, as well as friends and family.
The event aimed to introduce the authentic taste of Karachi-style biryani to Manchester and further expand Biryani Wala’s journey across the UK.
MP Afzal Khan and prominent lawyer Tahir Ansari attended as special guests and inaugurated the new branch. Solicitor Abdul Haseeb, who hosted the event, was also present. A special emphasis has been placed on serving biryani that captures the traditional flavor and style of Karachi. Guests were treated to complimentary biryani, and the venue was decorated to reflect Pakistani culture and traditional aesthetics. Attendees hailed the opening of the new branch as an exciting addition for enthusiasts of Pakistani cuisine—and Karachi-style biryani in particular—in Manchester. The presence of MP Afzal Khan at the event was a particular highlight. Prominent legal expert Tahir Ansari also attended the event and participated in the inauguration ceremony. Business figures and community members extended their best wishes to the management of ‘Biryani Wala.’ Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive and Solicitor Abdul Haseeb stated that the launch of ‘Biryani Wala’ in Manchester aims not merely to establish a new food outlet, but to introduce the traditional flavors of Pakistan—specifically those of Karachi—to a wider audience in the UK; the menu will feature grilled dishes alongside biryani. The opening of this new ‘Biryani Wala’ branch marks a significant development for the Pakistani food sector in Manchester. Located on Wilmslow Road, the branch will now offer Manchester residents the authentic taste of Karachi-style biryani.
