According to Ug News Media Europe,A video meeting between Tatyana Moskalkova and Dmytro Lubits, Human Rights Commissioners (ombudsmen) of Russia and Ukraine took place.Chief Ombudsman of Turkey Şeref Malkoç attended the meeting.”Ug News Media Europe” reports that the Russian ombudsmanin the telegramsaid.”Our mutual activity has already made it possible to solve a number of issues related to the reunification of families, the identification of missing persons from each side, assistance in the exchange of captives, and the mutual return of detained civilians to their homes,” said the Russian human rights defender.
He emphasized that the parties agreed to continue their activities in this direction, to assist in the exchange of lists of seriously injured persons, persons to be repatriated, and to assist the authorities in the return of citizens subject to deportation.”At the same time, as experience shows, the role of ombudsmen increases in such cases.
