Jhelum (Ch. Abid Mehmood + Mirza Qadeer Baig) Due to extortion of Jhelum Labor Department, various security agencies across the district started exploiting their employees. Numerous existing security agencies are working, these security agencies have expanded their business by recruiting security guards to illiterate and unemployed youth, these security agencies provide security guards to various business establishments, private schools, colleges, banks. Influential owners receive thousands of rupees per guard per month from the institutions while they are busy filling the coffers by paying their guards only a few thousand rupees per month. Elders of social welfare, welfare, religious and civic organizations of Jhelum district have demanded from the Federal Minister for Home Affairs, Commissioner Rawalpindi, Deputy Commissioner to pay monthly salaries to the security guards as per the salaries fixed by the Punjab government. Licenses should be revoked so that people belonging to the poor white clan can better meet the needs of their homes.
