Bacha Khan University has made significant progress under the distinguished leadership of Dr. Bashir Ahmed.

CHARSADDA:(Special Representative) According to global Times news Agency Europe, Dr. Bashir Ahmed, the Vice-Chancellor of Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, has tirelessly worked towards establishing the university for the better future and social upliftment of the Pashtun community. Bacha Khan University in Charsadda has notably excelled under the exceptional leadership of Professor Dr. Bashir Ahmed, who received the prestigious Pride of Performance Award.
It is noteworthy that despite daunting challenges presented by determined landowners, the university successfully acquired 780 acres of land and promptly initiated ambitious construction efforts. These endeavors encompassed not only the completion of boundary walls but also the development of various infrastructure projects, including extensive academic blocks for science and arts, purpose-built administrative offices, efficient administrative spaces, comfortable student hostels, and vibrant community areas, all of which have been executed with unwavering attention to detail. Both provincial and federal governments contributed funds to revive dormant projects, which were previously inactive and neglected. The development and establishment of the university campus have progressed remarkably well, and the 780 acres of land surrounding the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway have been fully secured. Construction of academic blocks, hostels, and administrative offices is ongoing. Furthermore, Dr. Bashir Ahmed’s visionary approach extended to academia, where he introduced eight new disciplines, including Pharmacy, Microbiology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Political Science, Physics, Urdu, and Islamic Studies, substantially strengthening the educational landscape. As a result, the university has witnessed a significant increase in the number of students, with enrollment growing from 2,200 to over 4,500. This profound growth reflects a deep commitment to both the foundational principles and academic offerings of the institution, benefiting students and faculty alike. Acknowledging and celebrating Dr. Bashir Ahmed’s significant contributions to society and education is of paramount importance. His exemplary leadership is setting the university on a path of progress, and it is hoped that, under his guidance, the university will continue to make rapid strides toward a brighter future for the Pashtun community.The relentless effort and the determination to empower every stratum of society have presented numerous challenges to Vice-Chancellor Bashir. He is fully committed to achieving an ambitious vision and will not tolerate any interference from mafias or groups that hinder the universities carefully planned development phases. Calls for necessary action against these wrongdoers and their expulsion from the university are legitimate and must be addressed.
