Peshawar:(Report by Wasal Ahmed) According to Global Times Media Europe,For the first time in Peshawar,lady police officer Saima Sharif has been appointed as the in-charge of outpost in the outpost adjacent to Hashtangri police station in Bilal Town,To further promote gender equality, Lady Sub inspector was given the charge of the outpost.Earlier that post Saima Sharif has been serving at the women’s desk.Women feel shy in the police stations and are afraid to share their affairs with most of the men therefore,A police officer has been appointed. The lady police officer has also served in the UN and her appointment as post in-charge is the first step towards gender equality.
