The People’s Mayor of Pendle, UK, Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam Jora, organized the CURRY NIGHT and Community Award for his chosen charities Pendleside Hospice and Armed Services Support Group at The Money Theatre Clown, in which the community participated enthusiastically and the community actively participated in the fundraising of the Mayor’s Charity – Prizes were given through rifle tickets – and special certificates were given by the Mayor to various personalities for their community services – Music was played – Former Member of British Parliament Andrew Stevenson – Shazia Malik – Samira – Chairman of the Mussarat Group Chaudhry Mussarat – Community Leader Muhammad Ali Basharat – Councilor Yasir Iqbal – Councilor Muhammad Yunus – Shahid Khokhar Mehr Farooq – Javed Iqbal – Raja Najabat Hussain – Consultant Dr. Tahir Bashir Baig – Former Mayor Muhammad Najeeb – Dr. Yunus Parwaz – Mayors of various councils included -The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Dr. Yunus Parwaz.
The participants present at the ceremony said that Mayor Pendal Chaudhry Aslam did a lot of fundraising for his two charities during his mayoral tenure. Chaudhry Aslam did record work for the community of Pendal. The community can contact him day and night. That is why he was given the title of People’s Mayor by the people’s will. That is why people from all communities not only participated but also participated in the fundraising. The credit for today’s successful mayoral fundraising goes to Mayor Chaudhry Aslam. Finally, the host Mayor Pendal Chaudhry Aslam thanked all the guests present at the ceremony for participating in the mayoral fundraising. And on behalf of the mayor, senior journalist Arif Chaudhry – Mustafa Mughal – Chairman of Musarat Group Chaudhry Musarat – prominent consultant from the UK Dr. Tahir Bashir Baig and Mrs. Tahir Bashir Baig – Dr. Yunus Parwaz and local community leader Sameera were also given special appreciation certificates.
The active participation of the community in the Curry Night Charity Dinner of the Mayor of Pendal Council Chaudhry Aslam Jora leads to important steps being taken for the betterment of the needy at the local level – which is an important step towards a healthy society.
