Open Kitchen Manchester, which has set a new record by providing free meals and food to the deserving people of Manchester for more than four years, has its founder Shahzad Mirza, also known as the Edhi of Britain, on behalf of his team, congratulated the senior British politician and member of the British Parliament, who was recently appointed as the Trade Envoy to Turkey by the British government. A ceremony was organized in his honor at the Open Kitchen Longside Hall in Manchester, in which all the members of Open Kitchen specially participated – and a cake was also cut. On this occasion, the special guest Afzal Khan MP thanked the spirit and servant of Open Kitchen, Shahzad Mirza and his team for organizing the ceremony in his honor and said that I am grateful to the Prime Minister and my party for trusting me. I will try to play my part in further increasing trade between the UK and Turkey. Mirza Shahzad and his team have been serving the community through Open Kitchen for a long time. Shahzad Mirza was also actively involved in welfare work in Pakistan before coming to the UK. Business and social personality Accountant Chaudhry Rasib Khan and Councilor Muqaddas Bano congratulated Afzal Khan on getting the new role and said that we are proud that Afzal Khan, a member of parliament from Pakistan, has been awarded such a big position and we hope that he will set an example by working with his ability for this position as before. Senior journalist and in-charge of Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust North-West, Tajamul Latif said that due to Afzal Khan’s ability, he has been made a trade advisor to the UK and Turkey, which we are proud of. We congratulate him and thank Mirza Shahzad for organizing the event in his honor. Host and founder of Open Kitchen, Shahzad Mirza invited Afzal Khan to the Open Kitchen at his invitation. He expressed his sincere gratitude for coming and said that he hoped that he would successfully fulfill the trade role he had been given between Britain and Turkey. Other officials of Open Kitchen also congratulated Afzal Khan on receiving a new position from the British government.
