An important meeting was held at Jhelum House, in which measures were considered for the development and prosperity of the area. All the participants were happy to meet in this meeting.
It is encouraging that we have all come together for the noble cause of making our village a “model village”. It was decided in the meeting that this group will focus on practical measures beyond politics and controversial issues, so that real development of the area is possible.
The following measures were agreed upon in the meeting:
✅ Installation of street lights in the streets – so that the public gets better convenience and security.
✅ Payment of the electricity bill of the local mosque – this responsibility will be taken collectively by the group.
✅ Comprehensive planning for village cleanliness – A coordinated strategy will be prepared to create a clean and healthy environment.
Insha Allah, these plans will be implemented as soon as possible. Suggestions and feedback from all members will be welcomed to bring about further improvements.
We sincerely thank Ilyas Gondal, Chief Organizer Jhelum Forum, for making the meeting meaningful and productive. We will make full use of the experience and resources of Jhelum Forum to take our village on a new path of development. Finally, Chaudhry Anwar Yaqoob, President of Jhelum Forum Manchester, thanked all the members who thought for the welfare of their area.
