An important meeting of the Oldham Mosque Council regarding the month of Ramadan was held under the chairmanship of Maulana Qari Abdul Shakoor Qadri at the Medina Jamia Mosque Oldham

In which detailed discussions were held and a unanimous agreement was reached on the working hours of the month of Ramadan and other matters. Maulana Taqi Usmani said that scholars from different mosques participated. The month of Ramadan teaches us patience and tolerance and if our neighbors are facing difficulties, we should help them in every way. Maulana Qari Abdul Shakoor Qadri said that everyone unanimously agreed on the working hours of the coming Ramadan that the working hours of Sehri and Iftar should be the same. He gave a message to the believers to worship while fasting, pray to Allah Almighty for forgiveness and take care of others. This is what the month of Ramadan teaches us. Maulana Tahir Baghdadi said that we also agreed that we should teach the community the blessing and virtue of the month of Ramadan to serve humanity with respect and that we should spread the message of peace, love and brotherhood at the local level. On this occasion, scholars from across Oldham and members of the administration of various mosque committees including Maulana Qari Abdul Shakoor Qadri, Maulana Qari Abdul Rashid, Maulana Taqi Usmani, Mufti Junaid, Maulana Rashid, Maulana Yunus Khan, Maulana Shafiqur-ur-Rehman Shaheen, Maulana Bashiruddin, Maulana Manzoor Ahmed Shakir, Imam Hussain, Maulana Sahibzada Muhammad Tahir Baghdadi, Maulana Qari Faridun, Hafiz Atiq-ur-Rehman Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Maulana Muhammad Adil, Maulana Muhammad Shafiqur-ur-Rehman, Raja Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Khalifa Muhammad Zahid, Maulana Farid Mian, Hafiz Muhammad Awais, Maulana Syed Maarif, Maulana Shah Nazir, Hammad Asghar, Haji Muhammad Arif, Liaqat and others participated. Finally, Maulana Qari Abdul Shakoor Qadri led a special prayer for the Muslim Ummah.
Closing remarks
The Oldham Mosque Council unanimously agreed on the working hours and other matters during the month of Ramadan and gave a message of peace and love with mutual unity and understanding within the community.
