CHARSADDA (Special Representative)Counsellor / Deputy Head of Mission at the High Commission of Malaysia, accompanied First Secretary / Head of Chancery, and Mr. Abdul Rauf, Country Director of Mercy Malaysia, visited Alkhidmat Hospital Charsadda on a goodwill mission.
During the visit, the honorable Deputy Head of Mission inaugurated a special event featuring 50 Free Eye Cataract Surgeries, a humanitarian initiative aimed at providing critical eye care to underprivileged members of the community.
In his address to the gathering, the honorable guest expressed heartfelt appreciation for the hospital’s commitment to advancing public health. He praised the tireless efforts of the hospital’s staff and management in delivering quality and accessible healthcare services and acknowledged their unwavering dedication to humanitarian service.
He further stated, “The people of Malaysia and Pakistan are like brothers and sisters – our religion and feelings are the same.” He also remarked on the shared concern for the people of Palestine, saying, “Palestine is our common pain, and we grieve for Gaza just as you do.”
The delegation also toured various departments of the hospital and was briefed on operational functions and patient care services. A detailed 2024 progress report was presented, highlighting departmental performance, patient caseloads, and future development plans of the hospital.
