Open Kitchen is providing excellent services and support to the community, says Councilor Shahbaz Sarwar

Manchester (Tajjamal Garmani): Councillor Shahbaz Sarwar, elected from Longsight Manchester and a leader of the Workers Party, stated that Open Kitchen is providing excellent services and support to the community. “I am pleased that essential items are being distributed every week, which is enhancing the reputation of the Pakistani community. I have been working with Open Kitchen from the very beginning, and this service must continue. The Council will always offer its support,” he said.

He expressed these views while attending a food distribution event organized by Open Kitchen Manchester. During the event, food supplies were distributed among over 376 homeless individuals, those in need, and students.

The chief guests of the event were Councillor Shahbaz Sarwar and his son Jalaluddin Sarwar. The event was presided over by Open Kitchen Chairman Muhammad Shehzad Ali Mirza and President Amir Khan. Other attendees included Chaudhry Saeedullah Madbar, Chaudhry Muhammad Rafiq, Abdul Razzaq, Sohbat Ali, Mohiuddin Cheema, Wajihuddin, Muhammad Hasnain, Teena Sheikh, Chaudhry Arif, Hafeezullah Chauhan, Haji Nawaz, Sajad Hasnain Shah, and many others.

Muhammad Shehzad Ali Mirza stated that Open Kitchen distributes food supplies weekly and provides freshly prepared meals daily. In addition, the organization also arranges family tours for sightseeing and is selflessly serving all communities, including the Pakistani community.

President Amir Khan said that Open Kitchen is doing commendable work, with people from all walks of life, including women, volunteering their services. He requested that Manchester Council provide waste bins. Councillor Shahbaz Sarwar assured his full support.

Shehzad Ali Mirza added that he had discussed future plans with Councillor Shahbaz Sarwar, who promised full cooperation. Chaudhry Arif congratulated Shehzad Mirza and Amir Khan and prayed for their continued strength. He also extended a warm welcome and congratulations to Councillor Shahbaz Sarwar on his visit
