Eid-ul-Adha prayers were offered with great devotion, respect and religious fervor at the Nagina Jamia Masjid, Oldham. The eminent religious scholar Maulana Qari Khadim Hussain Chishti led the Eid-ul-Adha prayer, offering special prayers for the unity and harmony of the Muslim Ummah and the oppressed humanity in the world.

. Qari Shabbir Ahmed led the third congregation of Eid-ul-Adha prayers. Maulana Qari Khadim Hussain Chishti said that on Eid-ul-Adha, the faithful offer sacrifices of wealth and whoever sacrifices his wealth will not hesitate to sacrifice his life when the time comes. The sacrifice of meat is an Eid gift for the poor and needy. It creates a spirit of self-sacrifice. Thirdly, it teaches a lesson of togetherness, which creates a spirit of mutual harmony and love among us. My message is to raise your voice for the oppressed and suffering humanity at the global level. Former Oldham Council Councillor and businessman Khizr Rehman said that Eid-ul-Adha is the name of sacrifice. From me, Eid Mubarak to the community of Oldham and Muslims around the world. – Oldham Council Opposition Leader Councillor Kamran Ghafoor congratulated the Eid-ul-Adha and gave a message of sharing peace and love. Hafiz Javed Iqbal said that Eid-ul-Adha is the name of sacrifice. Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) sacrificed his son Hazrat Ismail (AS) which was accepted by Allah Almighty and the series of sacrifices will continue until the Day of Judgment. Heartfelt greetings to the entire Muslim community on Eid-ul-Adha. Kashmiri leader Javed Iqbal said that Eid is a festival of happiness. Let us erase all the grudges and grievances and embrace each other. On behalf of the mosque administration, Haji Asghar Ali, Muhammad Yusuf Bhatti and others congratulated the believers on Eid-ul-Adha and gave a message that we should heal the sufferings of the oppressed and poverty-stricken people in these moments of happiness.
Eid-ul-Adha teaches us the spirit of self-sacrifice and sacrifice, as well as sharing our joys with the suffering, oppressed, and those crushed in the mill of poverty.
