According to Ug News Media Europe,A nationwide referendum on amendments to the constitution is being held in Slovakia on January 21.Ug News Media Europe reports with reference to Slovak media that 4.5 million voters of the country of 5.5 million must answer the question about the possibility of dissolving the Milli Mejlis (parliament) according to the results of the plebiscite. Currently, only the president of the country has the right to do so.The preliminary results of the referendum, which will last from 07:00 to 22:00 local time, will be announced on Sunday.Referendum will be considered completed if 50 percent of registered voters participate. More than half of the participants’ votes are needed to accept the changes.This is the ninth referendum in Slovakia’s 30-year history.The results of only one of them were successful for the entrepreneurs. So, in 2003, the majority of the country’s citizens supported the republic’s entry into the European Union.
