A respected pillar of the Oldham community and a beloved figure, Chaudhry Imtiaz Ahmed, has passed away.

The funeral prayer was offered at Madina Jamia Masjid, Gulliver Dock. A large number of people from all over the UK, including Oldham, came to the scene. Political and social figures also paid tribute to the deceased on this occasion.
A sad day in the history of Oldham. Chaudhry Imtiaz Ahmed, who belonged to Kasgama Azad Kashmir and the city of Oldham in the UK, was the father of business figures Chaudhry Wajid Khan – Majid Khan – Mujahid Khan – Shujaat Khan and the grandfather of Owais Wajid – Seemad Sajid – Hamid Majid – Imad Majid – Arbaaz Majid – and Abbas Majid – every eye that attended his funeral prayer was tearful. The funeral was attended by former Mayor of Oldham Chaudhry Riaz, Atiqur Rehman, Shadab Qamar, Maulana Shakoor Qadri, Oldham Group Leader Councillor Kamran Ghaffar – Chaudhry Mehdi Khan – and other important figures. People from the community attended in large numbers and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family. After the funeral prayer, a special prayer was offered for the forgiveness of the deceased, in which hands were raised for the elevation of his ranks. Those who participated in the funeral prayer said that the deceased was a very good person. We spent many years with him and he had a very good personality. May Allah grant him paradise and the departure of Chaudhry Imtiaz Ahmed is a great loss for us. He treated everyone with love and affection and was always ready to help others. May Allah Almighty grant him a place in heaven – his sons Chaudhry Wajid Khan – Majid Khan – Mujahid and Shujaat thanked those who attended the funeral of their late father today and requested prayers for him.
 The memories of the late Chaudhry Imtiaz Ahmed, a beloved personality, will always live on in the hearts of the community.
