





A dignified and spiritually uplifting Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gathering was held at Darul Uloom Islamia in Longsight, Manchester, to commemorate the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The gathering was held under the supervision of Haji Qurban Hussain.
The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by beautiful Naat recitations in praise and devotion to the Beloved Prophet ﷺ. A special presentation of the renowned Qasida Burda Sharif was also made, creating a deeply spiritual and moving atmosphere. Those attending listened with great love, respect and devotion.
Speakers highlighted the importance of remembering the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. They emphasised that the Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ provides humanity with an unparalleled example of peace, compassion, mercy, brotherhood and noble character.
A large number of devotees and members of the local community attended the gathering. The atmosphere became especially moving as Durood and Salaam were recited, filling the venue with expressions of love and devotion for the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
The organisers were praised for arranging such a meaningful spiritual gathering, which provides an opportunity for the community, particularly younger generations, to learn about and strengthen their connection with the Seerah and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The gathering concluded with Durood and Salaam and special prayers for peace, unity, prosperity and the wellbeing of the Muslim Ummah and wider community in the United Kingdom and around the world.
