The police used water cannons and tear gas against the protesters, in response to which the protesters started throwing Molotov cocktails and stones at them and the parliament building, and also set up barricades.In Georgia, the draft law “On Foreign Agents” is called an analogue of the Russian law. Its acceptance is supported by the ruling “Georgian Dream” party.Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili supported the protesters by promising to veto the law. After that, the ruling party announced that it withdrew the bills from the parliament.
