An event dedicated to the Khojaly genocide was held at the Training and Education Center.

According to Ug News ,In connection with the 31st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, a commemorative ceremony was held at the Training and Education Center of the Azerbaijan Army.The press service of the Ministry of Defense told Ug news that at the event, the National Leader of our people Heydar Aliyev, those who died for the territorial integrity of our country, the freedom of our lands, as well as the victims of the Khojaly genocide, were commemorated with a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.Then a video dedicated to the Khojaly genocide was shown.Those who spoke at the memorial ceremony spoke about the tortures and crimes committed by Armenian military units during the attack on the city of Khojaly with the participation of the 366th regiment of the former Soviet army on the night of February 25-26, 1992.It was noted that the Khojaly genocide was given a legal and political assessment for the first time at the initiative of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. Also, the purposeful policy implemented by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, as well as the “Justice for Khojaly!” implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. it was also emphasized that the Khojaly tragedy, which is one of the most terrible crimes of the 20th century, is recognized as an act of genocide in many countries and cities of the world as part of the international propaganda campaign.It was brought to attention that during the 44-day Patriotic War, the brave Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of Supreme Commander Muzaffar avenged the victims of Khojaly and all our martyrs on the battlefield.
