Today, there are only two historical-architectural monuments belonging to Azerbaijanis left on the territory of Armenia, one of which – the Blue Mosque in the city of Yerevan is a “Persian mosque”, and the other – the tomb of Amir Saad near Yerevan, is being described as a “Turkmen monument”.
Baku:(International Desk) According to ug news Media Europe,I watched President Ilham Aliyev’s participation in the opening of the building of the West Azerbaijan Community and his meeting with members of the community with great excitement and hope. Even the President’s resolute statement that “Western Azerbaijan is our historical land, it is confirmed by many historical documents, historical maps, and our history confirms it” gave me even more hope that we will return to our native land where I was born. I dreamed that I would visit the graves of my grandfathers… Even though we were deported from our native land from my childhood, I still could not forget my homeland, my native Lambeli came to my dreams many times…
The transfer of the building belonging to the Azerbaijani Community of Karabakh to the West Azerbaijani Community was a political, historical and symbolic message not only to Armenia, but also to the world. The 44-day Patriotic War gave us a Victory unseen in the 270-year history of Azerbaijan. This Victory assured us that we will return to our native lands next!
Vusala Mammadzade, associate professor of Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Studies, told GLOBAL TIMES MEDIA EUROPE .He said that very rich cultural values of our ancient people remained in the territory of Western Azerbaijan. This is not accidental, because our great-grandfathers created historical values in these lands for thousands of years. Unfortunately, the terrorist Armenians destroyed the values that our grandfathers left us. Among them, there are a large number of historical-architectural monuments, caravansaries, mansions, mosques, cemeteries, mausoleums, tombstones, etc. has been In the works of travelers, art critics, archaeologists, and artists, extensive information was given about the Khan’s palace, mosques, and caravansary in the city of Yerevan. According to official data, At the beginning of the 20th century, there were 310 mosques in the territory of Iravan governorate, each of which was a work of architecture. In 1918, after the establishment of the first Armenian state in the historical lands of Azerbaijan – the Republic of Armenia, the material and cultural heritage belonging to the Azerbaijanis was vandalized and destroyed, and they began to wipe it off the face of the earth. All historical monuments in the Yerevan fortress, including the Khan’s palace and the magnificent Sardar (Abbas Mirza) mosque, were destroyed. Today, there are only two historical-architectural monuments belonging to Azerbaijanis left on the territory of Armenia, one of which – the Blue Mosque in Yerevan is a “Persian mosque”, and the other – the tomb of Amir Saad near Yerevan, is being described as a “Turkmen monument”. By the decision of the Armenian government, it was decided not to protect the cemeteries of Azerbaijanis “because they are of no importance”. Armenian vandals destroyed cemeteries of Azerbaijanis.”Armenian vandals, in addition to erasing their traces on the historical and ethnic lands of Azerbaijanis, also carried out genocide against their toponyms. It is for this reason that from today the West Azerbaijan Community should set a goal for scientists to carry out special research on the history of West Azerbaijan and prove to the world the falsification of our history by Armenians. We will definitely return to our historical homeland, our ancestral hearths. This is our historical, moral and legal right. Of course, we have to be sure that the head of the country will implement it both in a wise policy and in a peaceful way. In the 44-day Patriotic War, we united as a nation like an iron fist and won a historic Victory as a result of the wise, far-sighted and decisive policy of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief.
