Other members of the delegation included Rana Imran and his young son – Chaudhry Nasrullah – Lahore businessman Kashif Shahzad – Mian Ijaz – Muzaffar – Adnan – and others – On this occasion, Mayor Faisal Rana warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and presented honorary certificates and special badges to Chaudhry Abdul Karim and Faisal Karim, while awarding commemorative shields to other members of the delegation in recognition of their participation.
Addressing the ceremony, Chaudhry Abdul Karim and Chaudhry Faisal Karim thanked Mayor Faisal Rana and said that the achievements of Pakistanis in the UK are a source of pride for the entire nation. They further said that personalities of Pakistani origin are rendering outstanding services in the fields of politics, social service and public representation in the UK, which are further strengthening the friendship and trust between the two countries.
Other speakers also paid tribute to Mayor Faisal Rana, appreciating his leadership, public service and valuable efforts for the community. On this occasion, the delegation also recorded their impressions in the Mayor’s Book and expressed their determination that this tradition of mutual respect, brotherhood and cooperation will continue with the same spirit in the future.
This ceremony was not only a recognition of the achievements of the Pakistani community living in the UK but also proved that Pakistanis are making their homeland famous all over the world through their hard work, talent and service.
