According to ug news Media Europe,Representatives of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service No. 1 in the East Zangezur economic district visited the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzMIU).AzMIU told ug news Media Europe that rector Gulchohre Mammadova said that the construction works carried out in East Zangezur, especially in Agali village of Zangilan district, are of great importance in ensuring the Great Return to our liberated territories. Paying attention to the political will shown by President Ilham Aliyev for the reconstruction of those areas, the rector said that special attention is paid to the training of personnel in the relevant directions at AzMIU for the purpose of quality and fast implementation of construction works. The rector added that the university closely cooperates with production enterprises, construction and design companies to train highly qualified engineers and architects. Yalchin Mammadov, head of the Service’s Restoration and Reconstruction Department, gave extensive information about currently implemented and planned projects. He noted that he attaches special importance to cooperation with the university.At the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between AzMIU and Restoration, Construction and Management Service No. 1 in East Zangezur economic district. In the memorandum, the involvement of AzMIU teachers and students, employees of the University’s Design Institute in large-scale construction projects in East Zangezur, career opportunities for AzMIU graduates, organization of joint conferences and symposia, exchange of experience and other issues are reflected.
