According to Ug News Europe,To date, 64,000 hectares of the freed territory of Azerbaijan have been cleared of mines.”Ug News Europe” reports that Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Demining Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), said this at a conference on demining held in Shusha, jointly organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and ANAMA.
According to him, 282 Azerbaijanis were victims of mines planted by Armenia, 46 of them died.
