According to Ug News Europe,The private sector of Iran neglects trade opportunities with Armenia.”Ug News Europe” informs with reference to “Tahlil Bazaar” that the chairman of the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce, Yunis Caeli, said this in a meeting with the Consul General of Iran in Armenia, Murtaza Abedin Varamin, in the city of Gafan, in Tabriz.
Although he highly appreciates trade opportunities with Armenia, he emphasized that Iran’s private sector neglects trade opportunities with this country: “Unfortunately, many trade opportunities have been neglected and efforts should be made to increase these trade relations.”Murtaza Abedin Varamin criticized Iran’s private sector for its indifferent attitude towards the Armenian market.Experts said that due to the current political, social and economic instability in Iran and Armenia, the markets of these countries are also very risky.That is why the official attempts of Tehran and Yerevan to increase economic and trade relations have failed. It is not excluded that this factor is the basis of Eunice Caeli’s critical approach to relations.
