According to ug news Media Europe,The President of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen held her first conversation with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in 2023.”GLOBAL TIMES MEDIA EUROPE” reports with reference to “RBK-Ukraine” that the head of the EC wrote about this on his Twitter page.”During my first conversation with President Zelensky in the new year, I conveyed my sincere support to the people of Ukraine and my best wishes for 2023.The EU will support as much as it needs. We support your heroic struggle.Your fight for freedom and against brutal aggression…” he wrote.The head of the EC said that the European Union will provide Ukraine with generators, light bulbs, shelters and school buses, as well as financial support this winter.I look forward to meeting you again in Ukraine soon,” he added.
It should be noted that Ursula von der Leyen has visited Ukraine three times since the beginning of the war.
