Political scientist Amid Aliyev expressed these views in his statement to GLOBAL TIMES EUROPE.The political scientist noted that, first of all, the phrase “Nagorno-Karabakh” was removed from the document presented by France.The statement that “only humanitarian goals can be envisaged by supporting the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan” resulted in the removal of this document from the agenda.With that, we witnessed the French President and his diplomacy falling into disgrace once again.This is the second smear campaign launched by France against Azerbaijan at the UN level, and both had the same fate.Regarding the position of the countries that support Azerbaijan in these issues, Amid Aliyev noted that this is first of all the result of the successful foreign policy conducted by our country in the last three years under the wise leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. The next point is that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner. Today, the political position of Azerbaijan in Europe, the Arab world, as well as in Central Asia is based on solid foundations and has sufficient support.
“This policy, formed thanks to the political dividends earned by the energy diplomacy implemented in the last two years and the winning image of Azerbaijan, provides international support for our country’s rightful position in many issues,” Amid Aliyev stressed.
He added that Armenia takes a step back in every attempt made in its favor. The states that support it have damaged their “active” and “democratic” image in the international political arena.
