Thousands of Devotees Participate as Open Kitchen Manchester Provides Food, Refreshments, Breakfast and Gifts

A grand annual procession was held in Manchester to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, with thousands of devotees of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ participating with great love, devotion and religious enthusiasm.
The procession began from Darul Uloom Islamia, Longsight, and travelled through various routes before concluding at Manchester Central Mosque, Victoria.
The procession was filled with Durood-o-Salam, Naats and expressions of love and devotion for the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
At the conclusion, respected Islamic scholars addressed the gathering and highlighted the blessed life, character and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. They emphasised the importance of compassion, brotherhood, peace, generosity and service to humanity.
Open Kitchen Manchester Serves Participants
Special arrangements were made along the procession route to provide Niyaz, food and refreshments for participants.
Open Kitchen Manchester also established a dedicated food and refreshments stall, where free food, drinks and gifts were distributed among the procession participants.
A special breakfast was also arranged at Open Kitchen Manchester, with volunteers working throughout the day to welcome and serve members of the community.
Dedicated Volunteers and Supporters
The successful arrangements were made possible through the dedication and hard work of a team of volunteers and supporters.
Those who actively participated in the service included:
Hafeez Chohan, Mohiuddin Cheema, Raja Khurshid, Syed Sajjad Shah, Abdul Razzaq, Ghulam Hussain, Muhammad Maqsood, Sohbat Ali, Muhammad Rafi, Colonel Wasim, Hasnain Muhammad Ali, Habib Chohan, Muhammad Naeem, Muhammad Aoun, Abdullah, Muhammad Irfan, along with many other volunteers and supporters.
Their commitment, teamwork and willingness to give their time for the service of the community were widely appreciated.

Members of the public and community circles warmly praised the efforts of Open Kitchen Manchester and Care for Community, describing their continued commitment to humanitarian service as an excellent example for others.
Community members said that whenever there is an opportunity to help people, support those in need or serve the wider community, the Open Kitchen Manchester team is among those at the forefront.
They particularly appreciated the fact that volunteers give their valuable time and energy without expecting anything in return.
A Manchester Tradition Started by Muhammad Shahzad Ali Mirza
It is also worth highlighting that the tradition of arranging breakfast on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ in Manchester was initiated by Muhammad Shahzad Ali Mirza.
Over the years, this initiative has developed into a meaningful community tradition, bringing people together through hospitality, generosity and service.
