India will host the Voice of the Global South summit.

According to Ug news Media Europe,India will host a special virtual summit called Voice of the Global South on January 12-13.Ug News Media Europe was informed about this by the Indian embassy in our country.It was reported that this summit will bring countries of the Global South together to share their perspectives and priorities on a common platform. More than 120 countries were invited to the summit.
It is planned to hold 10 sessions within the framework of the summit. Four sessions will take place on January 12, and six sessions will take place on January 13. Leaders or ministers from 10-20 countries are expected to participate in each session.The opening and closing sessions will be held at the level of heads of state and government under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The theme of the opening session will be “Voice of the Global South – Towards People-Centered Development”, and the theme of the closing session will be “One Voice – One Purpose”.
In addition, eight ministerial sessions will be held: a meeting of finance ministers on “Financing people-centered development”; Environment Ministers’ session on “Balancing Growth with Environmentally Friendly Lifestyles”; session of foreign ministers on “Priorities of the Global South – Ensuring an enabling environment”; Energy Ministers’ session on “Energy security and development – road map of Prosperity”; Meeting of Ministers of Health on “Cooperation for Building Sustainable Health Systems”; Session of Ministers of Education on “Development of Human Resources and Capacity Building”; Session of trade ministers on “Development of synergy in the Global South – trade, technology, tourism and resources”; “The G-20:
It should be noted that the concept of “Global South” is used to describe the grouping of countries according to their socio-economic and political characteristics.The “Global South” is a term often used to refer to regions in Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
