Jhelum (Ch. Abid Mehmood + Umair Ahmad Raja) Jhelum District Health Authority Spokesperson Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat issued a press release yesterday. The corona report of 21 more people was received positively. There are no symptoms of the virus. These people have been isolated in their homes and 8 patients infected with Corona virus are undergoing treatment at District Headquarters Hospital and 1 patient infected with Corona virus has been referred to Military Foundation Rawalpindi. 10 potential coronavirus patients are being treated at the District Headquarters Hospital. The best treatment facilities are being provided to all the patients. The Jhelum Health Department has sent samples of 45286 suspected corona virus to the laboratory till yesterday out of which 1114 reported positive. Today 4 more corona viruses have been reported. Infected patients have recovered. Till date, 962 patients infected with Corona virus have recovered. There have been 24 deaths from the corona virus so far. In the second wave of corona virus, Jhelum Health Department has sent samples of 31133 suspected corona virus to the laboratory since October 1, 2020, of which 621 positive reports were received. So far, 15 deaths have been reported in the second wave of corona virus. Are So far, 43 medical and paramedical staff in Jhelum have been infected with the corona virus.
