ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court has sentenced three accused to death in a case of publishing blasphemous material on social media.
The case has been pending in the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court for the last four years, on which the court completed the trial and reserved its verdict on December 15, 2020.
Judge Raja Jawad Abbas, while delivering the verdict in the case on Friday, sentenced three accused Abdul Waheed, Rana Noman Rafaqat and Nasir Ahmed to death.
