Khazina-e-Sher-o-Adab and Mustafai Sharif Organize Mehfil-e-Milad and Naatia Mushaira in Manchester

Manchester: Oldham Khazina-e-Sher-o-Adab and Mustafai Sharif jointly organized a dignified Mehfil-e-Milad and Naatia Mushaira in Manchester, in which renowned poets, famous naat reciters, literary personalities, and lovers of the Prophet ﷺ from Manchester and Bradford participated in large numbers. The program was presided over by Ishtiaq Mir.

This spiritual and literary gathering was held as an expression of gratitude to Almighty Allah for the complete recovery of the founder and president of Khazina-e-Sher-o-Adab, Ms. Naghmana Kanwal Sheikh. Participants extended heartfelt congratulations to her and paid rich tribute to her literary, social, and religious services.


The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ, performed by Sarwar Chishti. The proceedings were skillfully conducted by Sabira Napeed Chaudhry, Naghmana Kanwal Sheikh, and Dr. Fasha as joint hosts.


The chief guests of the first session included Shahina Haroon (former Mayor of Bury), Dr. Naim Ashraf, and Dr. Iqbal Naim. The speakers highly appreciated the organization of this spiritually uplifting and literary gathering, stating that such events play a vital role in promoting love for the Prophet ﷺ, encouraging Urdu literature, and strengthening unity and harmony within the community.

In the Naatia Mushaira, distinguished poets from Manchester and Bradford presented their beautiful and faith-inspiring poetry, which was greatly appreciated and warmly applauded by the audience. Every moment of the gathering was filled with the fragrance of love for the Prophet ﷺ and the beauty of Urdu literature.

On this occasion, Chairman Sheikh Imtiaz and General Secretary Muhammad Shehzad Ali Mirza expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all distinguished guests, poets, naat reciters, volunteers, and members of the organization whose efforts and cooperation made the event a success.

They stated that Khazina-e-Sher-o-Adab continues to organize literary, cultural, and religious events in both the United Kingdom and Pakistan, and is recognized as one of the leading literary organizations in the UK that hosts a large number of such programs.

At the conclusion of the event, a collective prayer was offered for the continued health, success, and long life of Ms. Naghmana Kanwal Sheikh, for the progress and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah, and for the promotion of the Urdu language and literature in the UK and Pakistan.
