According to Ug News Media Europe,Last year, 32 UN peacekeepers – 28 soldiers and four police officers, including a woman – were attacked and killed around the world.Ug News Media Europe reports with reference to foreign media that the mission in Mali is considered the most dangerous destination for the ninth year in a row. Last year, 14 peacekeepers were killed in this African country. At the same time, 13 peacekeepers were killed in the Democratic Republic of Congo, 4 in the Central African Republic, and one in Lebanon.It should be noted that the number of peacekeepers killed in 2020 was 15, and in 2021, 25. In total, 494 UN employees were killed as a result of various attacks around the world during the last 12 years.
