Rome:(Report by Chief Ikramuddin) According to Ug News Media Europe,On February 12-13, the Italian regions of Lazio and Lombardy will vote for the election of local leaders and councils.Ug News Media Europe reports that the elections in these two main regions of the country cover more than 12 million people.Polling stations opened today at 07:00 and the voting process will continue until 23:00. On February 13, polling stations will be open from 07:00 to 15:00.The elections cover 378 municipalities in the Lazio region, including the capital Rome, and 1,504 municipalities in Lombardy. The Lazio regional council consists of 50 members and a leader, while the Lombardy regional council has 80 members, including the leader. The process of counting votes will begin on February 13 after the polling stations are closed.It should be noted that the previous elections in these regions were held on March 4, 2018.
