According to Ug News Media Europe,Polish Deputy Minister of Agriculture Janusz Kowalski said that the Polish authorities intend to try to restore customs duties for corn and a number of other agricultural products supplied from Ukraine.
According to “Ug News Media Europe”,”Jazba Times USA” newspaper published information about this.
According to him, the European Union’s decision to cancel all export duties for Ukraine last year led to losses for farmers in Poland.
“Farmers are not only dissatisfied with the fact that neighbors are given preference. They also complain about the quality of grain imported from Ukraine, because in their opinion, Kyiv fills the market with cheap technical grain. Warsaw is currently busy creating a coalition of EU countries that will unite on this issue.”Kowalski stated that the country will raise the issue of return of customs duties on Ukrainian corn and some other agricultural products by the European Union on January 30 at the meeting of the EU Council of Ministers of Agriculture.
