According to Ug News Europe,The leaders of the foreign policy departments of the US, Japan, Australia and India, which are part of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QUAD) group, met in Delhi on March 3 within the framework of the G20 group summit.reports that the Ug News Europe said that the situation in the region related to China’s hegemonic activity was discussed at the meeting of Antony Blinken (USA), Hayashi Yoshimasa (Japan), Peni Wong (Australia) and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar (India). It is assumed that the parties also discussed the situation related to the Russian-Ukrainian war.
It should be noted that QUAD was established in 2007 as a mechanism of interaction in the Asia-Pacific region and the Indian Ocean zone.In November 2017, the four countries formed a new coalition as part of a strategy to secure important shipping routes in the Indo-Pacific region. The first quadrilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Australia, the United States, India and Japan was held in New York in September 2019. In March 2021, the first summit of QUAD leaders took place in a virtual format. The first face-to-face summit of QUAD leaders was held in Washington in September 2021, and the next summit was held in Tokyo last May.
