In which local business and social figures participated, including: Prominent poet Raja Tariq Rabbani – business figures Qari Zulfiqar – Sajjad and Abid of Zamina Catering Oldham – Naveed Mahmood Abbasi – Mian Ghayraf – and others participated. Host Sardar Aftab Khan thanked the special guest Mian Anwar and the friends present in the hall for coming on short notice. He further said that Haji Mian Anwar Gujjar is a famous personality of Pakistan. He served the community a lot in Pakistan and made Pakistan famous all over the world. We welcome him to the UK. – The chief guest Mian Anwar Gujjar thanked Sardar Aftab for giving him a warm welcome in his honor. He said that I served the people a lot while being the Nazim and the Chairman of the Sports Board, for which I received many awards all over the world. The Government of Pakistan also gave me an award for giving me the duties of an international umpire. I am proud that I made Pakistan and Pakistan famous all over the world. – Other speakers said that Sardar Aftab always welcomed guests from Pakistan to the UK and organized events in their honor. Finally, the guests were treated to delicious Pakistani cuisine from Zameen Catering Oldham.
