Immigrants face severe hardship due to misconduct by consulate staff.Chief Executive Global Times Newspaper

Italy/Parma:(International Disk) International Global Times Newspaper Chief Executive and Chief of International Global Time Media Europe Ikramuddin said that Pakistan Consulate Italy Milan failed miserably in resolving the problems of migrants.He said that due to consulate staff ill-treatment,Pakistani immigrants living in Italy are facing severe problems and are having a difficult time.When immigrants apply for passport,Consulate still sending their inquiry to Pakistan even though they hold original NICOP. It takes 3 to 4 months to send inquiry while even after sending the inquiry to Pakistan it takes 6 months to 1 year in Pakistan which is no less than an injustice to Pakistani immigrants in Italy.He said that the staff of Pakistan Consulate Italy Milan has started mega corruption.The person who pays to end the inquiry has no inquiry but the person who does not have the money to end the inquiry is being humiliated by the government of Pakistan and the Overseas Commission,Its just like rubbing salt on their wounds -d’oh! He said that the consulate in foreign countries was set up to serve the migrants not to humiliate the people.He asked how long the misconduct and corruption of the consulate staff would humiliate the migrants. Talking to European and Pakistani media,Chief Executive Global Times News paper Ikramuddin said that the government of Pakistan and the Overseas Commission should investigate the staff of the Pakistani Consulate in Milan and those officers and other employees involved in corruption should be dismissed immediately.He said that What is the job of Pakistani embassador sitting in consulate?He should be paying attention to the problems of the people, instead of humiliating the migrants through his consulate staff and taking money from them which is very unfortunate.The promises made by Prime Minister Imran Khan to the migrants have not been fulfilled yet.Immigrants problem are increasing day by day,Present government and overseas commission are responsible for that mess.
