According to Ug News Media Europe,Peruvian authorities have declared a state of emergency in the department of Lima and several other regions.Ug News Media Europe informs that this is stated in the order published on the website of the government newspaper “El Peruano”.
The protesters demand the resignation of the head of state Dina Boluarte and the holding of new elections.Since January 15, a state of emergency has been imposed for 30 days in the departments of Puno, Cusco, Lima, the independent state of Callao, the state of Andahuaylas of the department of Apurimac, the states of Tambopata and Tahuamanu, the region of Torata, the state of Mariscal Nieto, as well as several highways.It should be noted that at least 17 people died and 38 people were injured in the anti-government protests in Hulyaka, Peru. One of the dead is a minor.
