According to the news, former MPA Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan was the first to be arrested from Rawalpindi Committee Chowk, while Zulfi Bukhari, Sadaqat Abbasi, and former Member of Provincial Assembly Ejaz Khan Jazzi are also included.
Sources say that former Home Minister Sheikh Rashid Lal came to Committee Chowk from Haveli but did not arrest him.
According to the sources, Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Aamir Mahmood Kayani also reached the Committee Chowk but did not arrest them, while the police have shifted the arrestees from the Committee Chowk in five vans.
A large number of PTI workers are still present at Committee Chowk.
