A renowned Human Rights Activist and Community leader, Activist Kelly Efemena Umukoro a k.a. Akima, bags 2022 Community Heroes and Ph.D. Degree Honorary Award from Global Times News Agency Europe (a European News Organization Agency) in collaboration with Pax Bonum Foundation for the Needy and Integrated Business School Abuja.
His letter of nomination according to Very Rev. Fr. Paul Arinze Obi ED Pax Bonum Foundation for the Needy said it was in recognition of his selfless contributions to community development. He maintained that Activist Kelly has consistently displayed good sportsmanship and patriotism which has indisputably earned him this outstanding global award.
The Community Heroes Award recognizes people, groups, organizations, and businesses who have made a difference in our community. A hero demonstrates how a person with passion and determination uses their life to make a difference. These virtues are coherent with the person of Kelly Efemena, which explains why our choice for his nomination is unwavering.
To further solidify our appreciation for his selfless services as merited, he (Activist Kelly) has been profiled among credible and deserving individuals for the Investiture of Ph.D. Degree Honorary Award, he added.
The induction ceremony shall hold on July 14th, 2022 at Delta State University Abraka during the Foundation Award Banquet.
