This meeting is an important step in promoting friendly relations between the two countries.Sardar Waqas Shahzad thanked the High Commissioner for his hospitality and warm welcome. He described the famous South African tea offered by His Excellency as a beautiful expression of friendship.During the meeting, Sardar Waqas Shahzad formally invited His Excellency Rudolph Pierre Jordan to visit the Swat Valley, which the High Commissioner accepted with a smile. As a return gesture, His Excellency invited Sardar Waqas Shahzad to visit South Africa, which he accepted with great respect and gratitude.Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Waqar Shahzad said, “Such exchanges of goodwill and people-to-people contacts strengthen the bonds of friendship between Pakistan and South Africa. We look forward to welcoming His Excellency to Swat, known as the Switzerland of Pakistan, and are committed to promoting cooperation, culture and mutual respect.” The meeting emphasized the importance of diplomatic and cultural ties to promote tourism and mutual understanding between the two countries.
