According to the Ug News Media Europe,Our meeting as parliament chairmen of the three brotherly countries is an indication that we have a common will to strengthen peace, stability and tranquility in our region.”Ug news Media Europe” reports with reference to the Turkish media that Mustafa Sentop, Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, said this during a tripartite meeting with Sahiba Gafarova, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis, and Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Chairman of the Islamic Council of Iran.According to him, all three countries should unite their forces to establish regional and global peace.Touching on the Armenian-Azerbaijani problem, Sentop reminded that on the one hand, Turkey supports Azerbaijan in its just cause, and on the other hand, it has started the process of normalization with Armenia. This approach is also a part of our vision to solve the problems in the region through intra-regional mechanisms based on mutual dialogue and cooperation. Basically, our vision of regional normalization envisages a future where there is no outside interference, where the attempts of third parties to create influence are minimized, and where the countries of the region develop in peace and cooperation with each other. In order for this to happen, it would be more appropriate to avoid actions that would create additional tension, mistrust and hesitation in the region, on the contrary, to act sincerely and openly, and to establish a sincere dialogue when necessary. If we do not achieve this, we will miss the next historic opportunity and open the door for non-regional actors to be more effective.Shentop drew attention to the potential of cooperation in the field of transport corridor and energy in the region. At the meeting, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova and Chairman of the Islamic Council of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf also expressed their opinions and supported the continuation of the tripartite meeting format.
After that, it was agreed to hold the next meeting in Baku or Tehran.
