According to Ug News Media Europe,British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace is in favor of a 20 percent increase in the kingdom’s military budget over the next two years due to the conflict in Ukraine and high inflation.Ug News Media Europe reports with reference to “The Times” that Ben Wallace demands from Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt to increase the annual defense budget from 8 billion pounds (9.6 billion US dollars) to 11 billion pounds (13.2 billion US dollars) .Britain’s current military budget is £48.6 billion (US$58.5 billion) a year. According to previously announced plans, the funds allocated to the country’s defense by 2025 will be 700 million pounds (845 million US dollars).
